"Drifting Into Nothingness"

Drifting into nothingness;
This solitude kills me silently.
Moments drift on...
And distance seems farther,
Time longer.

Sadness overtakes me more each day.
Being away makes everything worse...
A million pictures;
They help but aren't the same.
A hundred phone calls
Only leave me missing you even more.

It seems that only the touch of your hands...
The smell of your skin...
The taste of your tongue...
Only these will remedy my sadness.
Only these things will make me smile again.
Until then, I know I will be drifting...
Drifting into nothingness.
